Biodiversity in Westport

Dr Oliver Whyte (jr) will host a discussion on ‘Local ecology - practical actions that can preserve our natural heritage’.
Oliver has long been interested in nature and the importance of biodiversity in our local environment.  This commitment has found expression in a variety of planting and rewilding projects in the Westport neighbourhood.  And his illustrated talk will outline some of his ideas on practical ways we can enhance and preserve our natural heritage.  All are welcome especially younger age groups, who hold the future of our environment in their hands.
